Task 2

Task 2 (Week 37 to 38  ) (w/c 13 April 2015 to w/c 20 April 2015)
Using the above information collected, produce some outline production ideas for your FMP.

Carry out extensive experimentation using a wide variety of materials and techniques to test the viability of your outline ideas.
You could try to produce work in the style of work you have researched and then expand this by experimenting with ways to push boundaries further. SEE WHAT WORKS, EXPERIMENT WITH WHAT MIGHT BE EFFECTIVE. GET YOUR TESTING DONE AT AN EARLY STAGE before producing detailed designs and committing yourself to something that may not work. Explore formal elements and experiment with a variety of media, materials and techniques. Ensure that you clearly state links between your exploration work and research previously carried out.

Idea Generation.

After researching into different styles of animation and artist I am liking the idea of an animated character coming into the real world to interact with the other characters. The idea came from researching into Who framed Roger Rabbit which was famous for animated character mixing with film. The animator Max Fleischer who was the creator of Betty Boop was the inventor of the Rotescope which is animating over live action filming which is a process I would like to use within my animation. I would also like to add a tattoo animation into my final major project.

EXPERIMENTATION

I attempted to put an animated Character into a real video however when using my final piece I need to use a stabilizer for the camera as I found it difficult to keep the character within frame without making it look strange. I also need to create a small animation to make it play over the top. I am also testing the puppet pin tool for breathing and easier animation which is working very well however it is difficult to use with an image that has over lapping limbs or hidden limbs. This will mean that my character will have to be simple yet effective to use this tool.
